I Need something new to do
I've taken over the entire world as the turks. I've sat back and let the powers of the world fight as the Egyptians(took a few provinces and then basically did nothing..that changed later on because I got bored so I started to pillage cities and give it to the week mongols - also gave some to the Aztecs), and now I have nothing to do. It seems like I've done everything that there is to do in a campaign. I would try a new mod, but I'm contempt with retrofit+grand unit addon+ai addon

Well if you're bored and have no interest in other M2TW mods, then I suggest that you try out Multiplayer or have some fun with Custom Battles.

The Great Rebellion. See how many cities you can force to go Rebel. Conquer just enough (Rebel) regions to allow you to keep pumping out Spies and Assassins then fill up all the other Factions' regions with your Agents.

Try migration. Take an orthodox/islamic faction and move to somewhere in the middle of Europe. Once there, give away all of your old settlements and try to survive surrounded by factions of a differing religion.
Or perhaps you could try this: Play normally, either turtle or amass a sizeable empire until the Americas are discovered, then go all out to conquer it. Once you have it lose all of your land either by giving it to another factions or let it rebel. (Alternatively give it to the Aztecs, they wont produce anything but itll be interesting to see who conquers them first). Then try to conquer it all again, against a much stronger old world.

Aaach, you've not yet thrashed the Mongols with the Scots while listening to the pipes play Scotland the Brave, I'll wager.

so far I've gotten denmark/scotland to die off from their cities rebelling. I'm working on the English, but I couldn't get York to rebel for the life of me. London rebelled in a few turns, but York was able to hang on even though I destroyed buildings every turn, had 6 spies in there, and the region was 80%+ orthodox.

Greetings there Old Geezer. Are you a piper sir? You certainly seem to have good taste in music!
I teamed up with two other pipers and we played "Scotland the Brave" in the local Veteran's Day Parade. It was a nice calm and comparatively warm day here so none of our kilts got blown up. Air Deagh la Peant bhilean.

Try a new campaign train as many assasins and spies as you can, and try to destroy other factions without military use.

Perhaps, instead of dominating the map you could create a small but profitable empire and go about offering military support to your allies.

Try challenging yourself..like amassing armies and besieging then destroying all of the cities and castles in an entire faction in two turns (one to besiege the next to assault)
try forming your empire perfectly so your territory on the campaign map draws little pictures (maybe?)
The migration idea is an interesting one..like being scotland then moving to egypt.
Have you tried alignment based campaigns (All chivalry trying to get best rep possible, giving military assistance and giving allied empires settlements that fell to enemies, then all dread trying to be most hated empire ever, backstabbing left and right)

Do it militia-style! Make no military units except your various militias, and try conquering the world that way!

Now that is a seriously fun game, tried it once with militia plus merchant cavalry only. Very challenging battles
Hit them as hard as you can, as fast as you can, where its going to hurt them the most..... and preferably when theyre not looking!

Easy. Play as Milan.
Italian Spear Militia + Genoese Crossbow Militia = WIN
No priests? I forgot to train priests for some 20 turns, and there were 4 heretics and 2 witches in every province and all my cities were rioting and rebelling.Build no Agents (spies, merchants, priests or assassins),
Took a lot of effort to kill the heretics and witches.

Unless you play as Milan or Venice a "militia only" campaign would be as masochistic as wallpapering a submarine (the inside).

Dunno, it could be an interesting challenge. Have to pick someone who has an interesting assortment of militia units though.

i'm going to also try to make a circle empire - imagine the outskirts of the map under once faction all the way around the map..would look pretty neat

Interesting Idea with the circle empire, you could always go with classic pirating.As in you only have like 1-3 settlements somewhere on islands (the two islands west of italy are a nice place) and you only sack settlements then you could make them rebel..or even give them to some faction for fun.. I guess it'd be a way of irritating the enemy and watching the AI battle it out, manipulating wars in your own twisted way (like if a factions about to lose, attacking the current victor and giving the settlements to the losing faction for ***** and giggles)

Restrict your income and armies... Build no Agents (spies, merchants, priests or assassins), farms, or economic buildings (like grain exchanges). Then, only allow 2 standing armies, one for your Faction Leader, and One for your Faction Heir. Otherwise only allow each city to build the max number of free militia units for defence, and only allow castles to maintain 1 units per castle level for defence.
It will make planning much more important as you have a lot less money. It will also make military strategy more important, as your cities and castles will be vulnerable. It is also a much faster game as you have no agents to manage, and only 2 armies to control. Lastly, heretics cause real havoc, as the only way to counter them is by building churches, so they can cause cities to revolt.

Download Broken Crescent, install and play it. It is real fun.
Officer to a soldier who refuses to fight: There three types of soldiers who don't have to fight. They are called KIA, MIA and POW and you are not one of them.
Tosa will be missed.
