i just downloaded this mod, i was put off downloading it before becuase it said you should have 1 gig of ram and i only have 960 lol, but its all good i can run about 10k men on the battlefield.
Anyway back on my point, i totally wasnt expecting how hard it was going to be at the start, i meen you got full stacks of carthaginians at the bottom and full stacks of gauls at the top and worse of all you have full stacks of senate legionarys not doing anything, so can anyone give me some starter advise on how to deal with the carthaginians?
Becuase normally at the start the greeks come take my foothold of sicily with 6 units of spartans, gauls come take my settlements up the top, and carthage takes the rest of my settlements down at the bottom, and im normally in - by the 2nd turn from trying to build walls on my settlements, so what did you guys do to get your campaign rolling and to eliminate this threat?

give up sicily, kill Hannibal with Quintus's Legion and move Vibius to the North to stop the Gauls.
that's basicly what i do.
maybe try the search function to find some guids. there are some here i think

yups take the garrison out of sicily destroy all buildings you can destroy to get some extra money put the garrison in capua so you will get an axtra marie send that up to the nord take out hannibal when defeating him you can take taras that probebly rebelt against the carthaginians

lol i heard they are better than the gauls, and i got at least 10 thousand gauls in the forests quite near rome, and cmon wtf is hastati gonna do, this is definatly the hardest vh game ive ever played, i just killed hannibal when he tried to take a settlemeant but i saw carthage is brining in another full stack from carthage, with them overpowerd elephants, i dno what im gunna do because i cant give up, not that ive started, and cmon ive gotta defend the penninsula from both ends with hasati how long is the reform?

don t you have the euhm principes ore something linke that and triari? around 14000 to get pro-consul thing and that will take for about 10 ore 11 turns to build if its not gonne be sieget lol
