I really hate Ned Lamont Democrats. They feel that it is their duty to be radical and different then everybody else. In some way Ned Lamont Democrats are a big asset to Republicans.

Yeah I like to think that I am fairly well versed in American politics but I have never heard that term in my life what makes them different to your run of the mill democrat.
This is complete nonsense. Why is Ned Lamont so bad? Why do you have such a problem with his supporters? Could it be because they advocate change in the Democratic Party? What is so bad about that?
Some people in Connecticut, myself included, got tired of watching Joe Lieberman talk like a Democrat and act like a Republican. Joe Lieberman has become useless to the State of Connecticut. He no longer represents his state's interests and routinely ignores his constituents. That is what Lamont's movement was about.
To make a generalization like this about a group of people who supported Ned Lamont does nothing but show a clear lack of understanding of the issues. By the way, there is no such thing as a "Lamont Democrat." You made that up.
..and if anyone is an asset to the Republicans, it is Joe Lieberman, the man who went against the interests of his party by running independent after a sound defeat in the primary.

I just hate Lieberman for using video games as a punching bag.

Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.
Sorry who here likes to have something they enjoy to play in their free time be scapegoated for whats wrong in the world?

I was using the term Ned Lamont Democrats in a general refernce to Conneticut Democrats who supported Ned Lamont over Joe Lieberman. They also are generally extraordinarily wealthy and extremely liberal.
I am suprised most people have heard of this term since I have heard it all over the news lately especially since Barack's victory in Conneticut was attributed to "Ned Lamont democrats".
In other words, most Connecticut Democrats.
That is one of the most ridiculous and baseless generalizations I have ever read in my life. People voted against Joe Lieberman because he no longer represents the interests of the people who put him in office. He is a career politician and that is all. He talks like a Democrat and walks like a Republican. In fact, if it weren't for Republican votes, he would never have been reelected. They also are generally extraordinarily wealthy and extremely liberal.
...by the way, I am neither wealthy (as is the case with most of the people I know) nor am I "extremely liberal," whatever that means.
I have lived in Connecticut for 32 years and I have never heard this term. Obama's victory in Connecticut can more accurately be attributed to "sensible Democrats."I am suprised most people have heard of this term since I have heard it all over the news lately especially since Barack's victory in Conneticut was attributed to "Ned Lamont democrats".

I could care less about video games. I can also tell you that Connecticut voters don't care how he feels about video games either. That is only a symptom of the problem with Joe Lieberman. It is just another example of how far out of touch he actually is. Joe has been in the Senate for way too long. He has outlived his purpose there.
People also need to understand that the only reason Joe was reelected at all is because the Republican party ran a weak candidate, Alan Slesinger (he used to be the mayor of my hometown, btw...well, for 1 term). When Joe was defeated in the primary and decided to run as an independent, Republicans voted for him because they knew that if they voted for their own candidate, Ned Lamont would have won the election.
No...but he makes a habit out of trying to introduce various legislation to hold video games and Hollywood "accountable" for whatever problems with violence young people might have. The guy's a joke.
