    Default Dynamic Kings Purse ?

    I was wondering what exactly this feature in Britannia Campaign does. Manual says that it is possible that Kings Purse bonus will change during the game. I played Britannia 2 times already - Wales, England - but I have never seen the Kings Purse to change.

    So I'd like to know if someone knows what triggers the change and how big the change can be ? :hmmm:

    I think as Norway you get the most changes. Very early on you get an increase of 2500 and another 5000 increase several turns later. At turns 15 and 20 these are removed again (-2500 in turn 15 and -5000 in turn 20). Norway starts out with a purse of 2000 and that will grow to 9500 for several turns. So it will have a big effect for Norway.
    Other then that it will only give increases to the AI, depending on difficulty level.

    I'm not sure, but I think the large increases for Norway are due to a large army you are given at a certain point in the campaign (like when King Edward returns from crusade in the Britannia campaign). The increased King's Purse is to help pay for the upkeep costs of the new units.

    Yep, that's the reason. They even mention it in through comments in the campaign script.

    So it is for financing the large reinforcemenrts, I see. Didn't notice the change when Edward returned though. But I guess I just wasn't looking for it

    Can this feature be used in retrofit?

    Yes, the feature can be used in a script if the game is ran with the Kingdoms.exe.
