    Default Unit list for 1.5

Well I've made some unit lists with pictures from unit_info and descriptions from export_unit.txt ( nothing fancy but I think they are great as some sort of reference guide to all the different units in the game ). So far I've completed all Factions except Bosporans and Pergamum. I would like to post them if someone is interested.

Only problem I really have no idea how to post them here. Í've made them in word ( its one of the few programs I have on my computer at work )

Anyone interested ? ( if so than please also tell me how to put them here )

    UPDATE:
    Roman list here.

    http://files.filefront.com/Rome+UIzi.../fileinfo.html

If you change the background to white ( in word ) they are printer friendly.

    Roman unit manual.

You can put them in a zip file and then attach them to one of your posts. When you write your post scroll down a bit and click on "Manage Attachments". There you should be able to add the .zip files to your post.

There will be one for every faction. ( just began working on them 3 days ago ) I will post them here when they are finished.

If there will be no "official" unitlist for RS2, I will make one for RS2 also (and hope that I can find more time to make them look a little nicer)

    Mac:

Splendid! It's really helpful to have an idea of who gets what.

You might want to check out the unit roster made for IBFD. It has a unit roster cross-referenced with recruitment regions which is very cool, and would be a logical thing to aid us Roma players in keeping our legions fully staffed.

I'll find a link and post it here.

-> and here is the link

Nice stat in Excel, but I like it like Mac much more with the text actually..

There's no reason why you can't have both, although the text and pictures may need to be on a separate sheet to the cross reference in the example shown.

nice to hear that you like them.
just think of these as some "beta" unit lists.

i will complete all factions first and then i will think of a way to make them look a little nicer and put extra info in them ( aor/ required buildings etc. )

if you have any suggestions please post them ( but keep in mind i'm a little low on comp.skills)

Mac, what you are doing is awesome, but not needed. With RS2.0 just around the corner, every faction is completely different, except Iberia, Carthage and Rome, and even then Rome has new units and more mercs for the others. I suggest you send DVK901 a private message, and tell him what you did here, and then ask to join the team. Its these sorts of things that really add to a release. And if you could work with us, and have a sort of Unit Manual ready for when RS2 is released, that would be awesome.

Allright I'll do that. Maybe I'll find the time tomorrow,( a little busy at work right now ) but definitely by the end of the week. Just around the corner; means the release will be soon ? I hope I can help ( and really hope I will not disappoint you, I'm not much of a wizzkid when it comes to computers, etc. read my other posts )

It took me a whole night, but here it is the roman unitlist for rs 1.5 ( i think it contains aor info for the roman legions ) if somethings missing let me know.

well uploading seems to be a problem i'll try again later.

it seems that this file doesn't upload ( it loads for a while and then the screen goes blank: anyone a idea ? )

ps. the romans are a big faction, about 5 mb.
