    Default siege

    i don't know if this always happens but when i was playing as the ERE and was attacked by an enemy who had brought their own siege weapons, they used them poorly. they had catapults once and trebuchets once but each time they attacked they didn't use them like in vanilla, by destroying every piece of the wall they can and all of the towers. in BC they just attack the gate, which is hard for them to hit. they only get a small % destroyed and they have to bring in the ram. any1 else experience this?

    When my enemies bring siege weapons they never use em.

    I never met the occassion u mention, in my campaign, Ai will use ladders and rams to attack my wall, but each time they were beaten off the wall by me..
    Btw, i hate besiege or besieged battle, it indeed lagged....so i prefer autobattle in the campaign map...

    For what it's worth, siege engines failing to breach the wall is much more realistic than the damage done in vanilla (2 trebuchets destroying several wall sections and towers). But I don't know if that was the original intention in the mod, seems to be glitchy siege AI rather than historical accuracy (attacking the gate with catapults isn't realistic, obviously)

    when he made the topic i believe he was referring to the enemy not unsing catapults or trebuchets. Which happens to me

    ya, they only fire a couple of times only at the gate then they use the rams and ladders.
