5.3 vs 5.2

hey guys i was wondering, what is your overall immpression of 5.3 va 5.2? i was wondering because i have a great 5.2 game going, BUT the combat can be at times laggy...
i want to get somemore insight before i ditch my game..
IS it a big step foward? should i what for other improvments?.... etc

I feel they are annoying.

I'm sure they'll get less so in the upcoming release however.

There's plenty of other goodies in 5.3 to justify skipping 5.2 though.

Way, way, way too often. Once every 20 years would be much better. Same for the random economic events. When you are having economic disasters every other turn, you just ignore them.

5.3 is really worth having a new game start. The new events are very fun (happen to often, but repman will fix it) and "Georgia" is introduced by Harry Lime.

I finished my 5.2 campaign with Norway recently. Now I'm playing 5.3 and I haven't got any CTD til now. Also the strat map changes are worth.

Can't wait to see 5.4! The open beta 5.4beta5 is really good looking, only the new RPG element is negative.
