CRASH REPORTING

Yo, there was an error in game. In custom battle. It was England vs Scotland battle. I 've noticed error in the name of Scottish Highlander Spearmen. He gots lot of ///////// in his name. Then i was to start battle, game crashed in the middle of loading bar. So today I fought same battle (almost) and nothing happened. It could be my PC or who knows.

I had some problems like that too, playing England. Also there were some other bugs- but hopefully they will fix them in next patch/version of mod.

Well, I must admit that sometimes there are these bugs which are so "mysterious"... I've experienced that myself, playing multiplayer on hamachi, that every other battle, the game crashed. So we had to restart and we could play 1 match just fine and then again. There are so many factors that can cause that kind of CTD's that I think none of the modding team would like to promise to solve all possible crashes...

I don't know, Im not a modder, but lets hope they will fix it somehow. Althrough it will take a while.

No, there are no historical battles in the mod.

if you going to add historical batlles let me suggest the following:
tours (poitiers)
hastings
Pressburg
falkirk and stirling
crecy and azincourt
and 1 from the spanish reconquest

anyways i'm here to explain my problem: every campaign i start, at one point, it crashes. I have RTW 1.5 and i installed the hotfix #3 too.
In custom battle no problems. But in the campaign i cannot advance so much, beacuse it's impossible.

i hope there is a solution!

Mmmm... I suggest reinstalling hotfix #3. If you want to make sure it's correctly installed, try one of this things:
- Start your vanilla RTW, go to imperial campaign, pick Romans Julii, go to any settlement and put out all the garrison in it. If you see the vanilla romans julii banner (and not Kingdom of England banner), you have installed it correctly.
- Start Rome Medieval mod, go to medieval campaign, pick the English, open the faction menu, and on the left bottom corner of the faction window, you shouldn't be able to read "The Pope", but instead, a warning message no to click there.
Ask again if you have further problems...

second step: i read "the pope" and if i click there it crashes.
can i simply re-install the hotfix, instead of re-installing the all game + mod ?

EDIT: but i noticed that when i installed the HotFix3, it deleted all my previuos saved games...isn't it a confirm?

It should be. Tell me what faction and around what turn you are suffering the CTDs and I'll check that

i remeber for sure playing Castilla in 1202.
Teutonic around 1200, but exactly at the russian turn(when i put end turn and all the faction's icon start to show, at russian , crash)

same as teutonic, but england ad sicily turn....

so strange!!

but the fact is: if this happen around the start of the campaing, loading the previous savage and editing some things( like removing a siege, o deleting all the builings that wait to be built) it goes; In the later campaign no way to solve the problem.
maybe this last thing a bit complicate
