i clicked on the RM2 shortcut, but i dont think i dl the fix
please answer all my questions.
you have to fix RM2 shortcut or create a new one.
follow these steps:
*.create a shortcut of RTW.
*.go to shortcut's properties and add the following after "target" texts:
-mod:RomeMedievalMOD -nm -show_err
*for example the target like this :
"C:\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -mod:RomeMedievalMOD -nm -show_err (watch out the spaces between Words).

okay thats fine now but it just goes onto normal RTW now
Unfortunately, you have to start a new campaign to avoid CTD after patching Hotfix6. My campaigns starting before hotfix 6 crashed too. However, all campaigns starting after hotfix 6 are running well.
Errors on the map of campaign that caused CTD:
Crossing between Sicily and Italy.
Crossing between cities (I do not remember the name) in Saudi.
For these crossings happen randomly armies and ships, so it becomes very random the CTD.
Those are the ones I have seen whether there were other mistakes on the map of campaign warned about.
Thanks Imperator,i was playing yesterday and i faced a CTD without a message,no known reasons,i think the reason is what you mentioned, the city was al basra.
could you explain clearly what you mean of crossing (an army moves through cities or between Sicily and Italy?)?
could you give me a solution for the crossing problem?

ive reinstalled it all, and it still just goes onto RTW, RM2 isnt in the RTW folder even though i set it to go in to the RTW folder,
i only dloaded the one part installer file, is that right.
that is right, please stay here now so we can solve the problem, you have to find where did you install RM2
i couldn't find it, but it said it installed successfully, and the destination was meant to be the RTW folder
search for a folder called RomeMedievalMod,use 'search'
ive unistalled it and will install it again, does it go into main RTW folder
try to download it in any another place known to you (create a new folder and install in it),and we will use the copy/paste method.
well ive alredy set it to the main folder so it should work
it hasn't work so ill try the copy/paste method
EDIT ive found it in the creative assembly RTW folder and not the activision one

have you succeeded in installing RM2 in your game directory (rome total war)?
i was going to warn you, dont do anything alone.
if you have RM2 installed in your game directory, you have now to fix the shortcut, tell me exactly your RTW location (eg: D:\Activision\Rome - Total War).
Edit:what RM2 folders do you have in creative assembly folder?
