try to load AutoSave and fight again,if still there is a problem, you have to fight the battle automaticly.

For me the game crashes frequently so I save on every turn. I think there's a specific time when the game crashes but I'll make sure of it and let you know. Generally happens when England sieges one of my cities I think.

is it normal for an army to jump from a wall
and i am not talking about being pushed off
i fought a few battles where they clearly know what there doing when
they start running for the edge

    I swear there committing suicide

    My game crashes sometimes to
    but it loads back up
and the crash only happens during a battle where i am attacking
I'm always able to fix it by reloading the game
    and attacking the next turn
    instead of that turn

Totally agree with you. After I hit the 'end turn', game crashed when it is turn of England. Thus, I suspected that it is 'England' who crashes our game. I will choose England to start a new game so that it is under my control. I may know when I crash.

Yeah, mine usually works as well when I load it again. But then it crashes again later on.

Oh, by the way, my game runs really slow in battles because of the huge armies. It's a pity because it's really difficult to properly navigate huge battles.

Few things i noticed when i first started, great mod, wanted to say that before i said anything else . There's some unit cards that haven't been filled out ( diden't go through all of the units, just saw a few as byz) also as scotland, i noticed the senate tab was still there when you bring up the faction overview tab thing, i don't know if these have been brought up or fixed already so i thought i would tell you.

what would it take to get you to
change the Byzantine empire to the
    roman empire

I'm only asking because others have requested improvements to the game

it would only be correct to call an empire by the name it was called
    while the empire existed
not a name it was given 300 years after it fell

The Byzantines did refer to themselves as the Roman Empire, but because they are better known as the Byzantines makes me want to go for that. I believe in separating the Roman Empire as such (which pretty much fell in 476 AD), from the Byzantine Empire, which frankly did not retain that much of a resemblance for the full milennium more that it lasted.

what was its name between 1070AD and 1453AD?
The Roman Empire was called Byzantine Empire in the middle ages, its name has been changed after being converted to Christianity to Byzantine Empire.

what was its name between 1070AD and 1453AD?
the turks and the other eastern countries called them the romans
    the west was divided
some believed that they were the romans
and others believed they had no right to call them selfs the romans
so they called them the Greek empire
but no one ever called them the Byzantine Empire
    until after they fell

go here and you will see
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byzantine_Empire

("Byzantium" is the historiographical term used in the West since the 19th century to describe this empire).

that is what the site says

    it goes on to say

Whilst it was known as the "Empire of the Greeks" to many of its Western contemporaries (due to the dominance of Medieval Greek language, culture and population, but frequently also as a means of denying the empire's Roman heritage),[3] it was referred to by its inhabitants simply as the Roman Empire (Βασιλεία Ῥωμαίων) or Romania (Ῥωμανία) and its emperors continued the unbroken succession of Roman emperors; to the Islamic world it was known primarily as روم‎ (Rūm, land of the "Romans")

just one more site that shows why i think you should change the name of the empire
    http://www.romanity.org/htm/rom.16.e...roumeli.01.htm

    Lord Of The Knights
sorry if i got a little off topic with posting this
but i couldn't help expressing my opinion on what i believe to be fact

Thanks for the information, but why they called it Byzantine Empire in M2TW?
and which fall you mean, fall of rome (476AD) or fall of constinople (1453AD)?

they probably called it Byzantine Empire
    because thats popular belief
its wrong but yet thats what most people think

the point I'm trying to make is the east romans did not see
them selfs as the second roman empire
but as a continuation of the first and only roman empire
the sites i have provided clearly point this out

the fact that m2tw calls them the Byzantine Empire
    does not make it true
there are many historical flaws in m2tw
