Icon5 persistent CTD, Romani, 210 BC

Just wondering if anyone else ecnountered this. It's a persistent strat map crash, sometimes clicking on any city, but mostly Roma, and or navigating sideways through other open city menus for recruitment to Roma. The game was playing some really slow turns for awhile (maybe 2?) when everything was taking much longer than usual.

I have a suspicion that it has something to do with the buildings/units being constructed in the Romani homeland provinces, and the Polybian reforms. It's just a hunch. Thankfully I have a save from earlier and am going to go back and see what I can find out.

For some reason, thought the MIC structures are the same, I can recruit Polybian troops in some cities and not in others. For example, in Arpi, I can recruit Polybian troops but cannot in Roma, even though Roma has a higher level MIC in place already. it's very strange. Are the "local levy" buildings predicates for Polybian ability?

Thanks in advance. If I find a work-around, I'll post it here.

I think the problem you are experiencing is a trait bug. There is a fix for that, check the bugreport subforum and install all of the permenant fixes.
