    Default Traits and Ancillaries Gripes

Have you been seeing all your governors get "ignorant traits"? Too many bad traders? Too many good traders? Is it too easy to gain dread or authority? Do you always see one trait crop up everywhere? Any totally out of place ancillaries popping up on your characters?

Well whatever you see, good or bad, please post your observations here. I'm doing an overall analysis of the current traits system which is effectively vanilla, but I need your help and play testing to take the first step of resolving obvious and reccurent problems.

    Complain away.

Any chance of reducing the effect of the "Sufi Master" trait? a lot of my general seem to get it after staying in a city for too long, and the -3 command really sucks for my battle harden generals.

I commonly see Deep Pockets but I think thats more of my poor managing than a "gripe" but most of my generals seem to have it.

In my ayyubid campaign, nearly all my generals went shiite (authority -4?). I had to send my faction leader and the following two on glorious suicide missions against the heathen romans because they had authority below zero (one of them also was "quite mad").

in my campaign i have to say that KoJ's generals are quite good!!!
no particular idiots are managing my empire...

my King Baldwin the tyrant is about 54 years old and 10 points autority, 10 points piety and six points command...

my best general on the field is Reynald de Chatillon's son, 22 years old and already ten stars general and commander in chief of the latin imperial army!!!
30BC: Ottaviano Augusto becomes the first Imperator, in his 44 years of principate he will bring to the empire peace and prosperity!
70AD: Vespasiano is the winner of first great empire's civil war, rebuilding Roman world after the Nero's dark ages.
98AD: Traiano becomes imperator after that the senateman Nerva adopted him,he will start a gold age for the empire getting it to biggest extension!! 117AD-180AD Adriano,Antonino Pio and Marco Aurelio administrate the empire during his richest and most pacific period, with their good administration Rome lives its golden age.
193AD: Settimio Severo wins the civil war started after the death of Commodo starting the Severan dinasty, his heirs will not be as good as him. 252-285AD Rome lives the peak of III century's crisis, onli the emperor Aureliano will be able to reunite the empire breacked in 3 parts and the great reformer Diocleziano will give to Rome militar, politic and social cohesion after decades of caos. 325AD:Costantino rules alone over the empire and christianity is for the first time accepted by the imperial government.

Ignorant trait is pretty common, but maybe my family lineage (ERE) harbors ignorance.

The Legendary Armor or something like that ancillary seems to show up pretty randomly. I've had it for generals with 0 command stars that have never fought a battle. But you can switch it though, so no biggy.

Could more dread traits be added into the game? I find it hard to get past 5 dread as occupying towns net you +chiv, i wouldnt want empty, near-useless cities because i wanted high-dread generals. Only my faction leaders get more dread than that due to assassinations, which uses the town occupy/exterminate trait line. I think chiv is quite a bit easier to get, just occupy towns and release prisoners and you get like 8 chiv general with the other +chiv traits that pop up. I wonder if more people that prefer dread have noticed this, or am i just doing it wrong? Wouldnt be the first time

I do not know if this is intentional but all my kypchak generals got traits that reduced public order I couldn't keep hardly any of them in my cities.

A faction in the game is Denmark from Vanilla.
    Converted. Probably.

So they should change the trait text to the correct one.

Heh yeah, i think all of those titles have the description right but the stat says the original faction the BC one is converted from. If you check your console it is always filled with add_money Denmark -x (etc) because of the special cash reductions.

I have definitely noticed my governors get "incompetent trader" way too easily. For instance, I sent Jelaluddin to be governor of Samarqand in my Khwar H/H campaign, and instantly had him start building town halls, markets, and mosques. Two turns later he gets incompetent trader! WTF!

In my eyes, there are traits that seem too common and they crop up way too fast. "Ignorant" is one. "Extravagant" is another. I'll play some more and come up with some others...

Too many traits seem to neuter each other and we get average governors sometimes. Too few would be boring... I am quite satisfied at the moment. I didn't spend enough time to study the traits fully tho, just initial thoughts.

Command is to easy to get, this combined with being a passionate reader of sufi texts myself, makes me love the sufi master anc!
Ten stars are for Alexandre, Ceasar, Genghis or Rambo, not for the 22 years old faction heir whoe's kicked a few renegade rag-a$s...

Inetlligence level 2 gives charm, and princess are all butt-ugly, and, Arse or boylover shows up very often. I like it when it's one of my good generals, he takes care of my precious troops, but when it spams my entire empire I go with a little give_trait Arse 0 to a few of them...

    Lmao

Most of the times I don't bother check the traits because mostly there's a load of them and many family members too.

All my first-generation generals have dread +5-10 so their childs suck. Beside the command star and battle skill, their traits really sucks. The only way i found for them to get no bad trade traits is letting them outside the settlements. Then i only let them in if i want to upgrade a settlement. Generals give a good bonus to the population boom.

I have seen alot of ignorant trait, a few shia traits and a few unihibited one. the other trait that pops up often is extravagant.
