    Default Multiplayer problems.

Okay, so I did a complete fresh reinstall and have all the latest patches so I can play Broken Crescent which now works perfectly. Yes I had to install the Vista Patch too even though I'm using XP.

So I tried logging into Gamespy using the BC mod and got in but there's no one in there at all. The waiting area is totally empty.

So I closed down M2TW and just loaded it up again without the BC mod. I logged into Gamespy Multiplayer again and once again it's empty.

Went back and turned off Window's firewall just in cast and tried again. Once again it's totally empty.

I'm on the West Coast of Canada...

    What is wrong here?

Why did you have to install the Vista patch on XP? This would actually be best moved to the BC multiplayer subforum or maybe post in there as well.

But what you described sounds like a connection issue at your end. The first things I would ask if you are using a software firewall and or a network router? Make sure this port: 27750 is not blocked.

I'll give that 27750 a try with port forwarding

Unless you have a static network address, I would go port triggering if at all possible (that is if you have a router that supports it) because then the ports are only accessed when they are needed rather than remaining open all the time plus you don't have to be concerned with static IPs.
