Default OMG! Photoshop is killing me!!

    Hi everybody,

As some of you might have read before, I am working on a 17th century mod,
I am trying to texture musketeers to have plate armor on their upper bodies.
However I have absolutely no clue how to do this.

I have followed a tutorial, but all texture parts are squares. the one that I want to edit has curves however:

The red part is what I want to be made of an iron texture. As you can see the original texture is curved :S

Some advise would be highly appreciated!

The way most people start out in texturing by simply copying and pasting. You're not experienced enough to develop your own cuirass texture so you best bet is to open a texture that has plate armor and just cut out the pieces you need and edit them to fit into the texture you have there.

I copied over a partial plate texture, However ingame it does not reflect light, how can I make it do so?
