    Default Quick battle AI suggestion

    One thing I've noticed is that once the AI's general goes down, his troops have a tendency to rout almost on contact. Given that the AI still (Grandviz has made this somewhat better) has a tendency to view its general as a wrecking ball, I would suggest lessening the impact of 'general death' on the army (AI only). This would make them a good bit tougher to beat and make battles longer and more rewarding. Sadly after skirmishing, maneuvering and the inevitable premature cavalry charges, the actual fighting between armies is usually by far the shortest of the 'phases' in battle. I would also suggest reducing the kill rate, which is something (I believe) RTR did right off the bat in order to de-arcade Total War battles.

    The impact of the general's death on the army is hardcoded and cannot be modified by mods.

    Even though the morale penalty of killing an AI general can't be taken care of I like the other suggestion, the suggested reduction in kill rates. Is this something that will be looked at for 1.1 or 2.0?

    Or do what they did in EB , they lowered down lethality and upped morale at same time.

    As a result, battles are longer and you really have to work to win battle, not just do 1-2 cavalry charges.

    I have to admit , BC battles are better then any other ones in M2TW mods so far.In DLV i routed whole army just by charging 3 Mounted Sargent units at them (they have nothing for charge ).
