when it is 167 BC in the RTR platinum 1.9 , the game will be over and skip to the desktop. I have tried many times , but I always get the same results. what is reason? Is the RTR platinum 1.9 wrong ?

That was a funny last question.Do you have the revolt hotfix installed? If not try too see if it helps you go past this. Also, go to the RTRPE tech support sub-forum. There are a couple of pinned threads there with known issues and solutions for them. Maybe you can find something that helps you.
Same thing happens to me often. I have the revolt hotfix installed as well. You just have to relaunch the game and click "Continue Campaign". It usually proceeds without a hitch until some subsequent year when it CTD again.Rinse. Repeat.

Hmmm, I had a prob like this near the end of a game. I got round it by saving the game at the end of each turn. Then loading the saved version without quiting the campaign. It was a bit of a pain but not as much as having to reload the entire game every turn. Maybe it will work for you or maybe not.
Good luck.
It's better to save two files - so you always have a backup of previous turn. Sometimes your next turn is just screwed no matter what you do......
Also remember to save before every battles.

this thread just put me off downloading rtr, does this happen with the older verions?
It happens with pretty much every mod out there. The CTD concept hasn`t been invented in recent times.
