    Default Training bug?

I'm playing the Rajputs at around 1217 and Delhi is my primary training center because it has the top structure in the smith line. Unfortunately for the current turn I cannot train units at full experience. I've hand checked and cleared every city to clear them of recruits, used a number of spies to 'reset the seed,' and done all of the other things that usually fix the training bug in vanilla.

Actually (Just thought to test this) the problem isn't limited to Delhi, anywhere in my empire that I train or retrain troops for this particular year will result in 0 experience units.

Thinking back I've probably had this happen before and just written it off as the usual retraining bug, but this turn I know that I didn't load with units in line or do any of the things that would've sparked the vanilla retraining bug.

Some other info; I moved my capital, hired a chunk of mercenaries, and fought a few battles this turn, but this was not the turn that the structure at Delhi finished (I've been training the 2x silver bar units for a few years).

It isn't a big deal because the next year I can clear the problem and start training again, but it's a curious problem and I think it's recurrent.

One more note, as if I didn't pick the easiest faction for my first one, I also made the Ghorids my vassals... and got 450k florins the next turn. They betrayed me the same year the Mongols invaded, so I had to do something with them. Let's just say Allah is generous with his chosen people, eh?

Mmm, while I'm here, Delhi is a little hard to click. Perhaps because it's sitting on a hill?

Spectacular mod btw. I'm having great fun with the wild elephant hordes. It's not a good idea to be a rebel in Rajput India, that's for sure. I was lazy at the start and had to race to knock out the Kwaz so I could take the Mongols head on, but it should be good fun now.

I have seen similar effects on my ghazni campaign, I did avoid saving the game, though next turn no experience.... it seems we have encountered a persistant random bug, because in some other campaigns it did not occur.

I have had the same problem too, but I think I have found a way to solve it..
Please test for yourselves to see if that is the case or if I am just plain stupid

Anyway, when it's time for upgrading experience, queue up the units in the retrain tab from left to right in the order they are currently located, but don't overextend that queue into more than one turn of retraining. E g, if Delhi has five recruitment slots, don't queue up more than five units and only in the left-to-right order they are located in.

This has just been a pattern I have experienced so far, but I have not tested it scientifically in any way. If it works, please post a reply!

It pretty well works for me too, just never retrain more than your recruitment amount.
