Help i cant play the game

I install the game every thing goes well even the first loading screen appears and bam! this eroor message pops up

Script Error in data/descr_building_battle.txt,at line 50, column 9
Building db, expected faction, culture or season

WTF?

Your installation is corrupted!
Do u have bi 1.6? It may cause probs if not. Try to reinstall the mod into a clean unmoded rtw folder

I think i know what the problem is i have Roma Surrectum mod installed and i think that it has corrupted the BI even thou it isnt a BI mod, do u agree?

If it changes the Vanilla RTW then it may impact on ibfd games.

Which IBFD to you have? If it's Rio's then thier is a quickfix dl available in the Rio subforum

hi Imperial Fist, your guess is right. Roma Surrectum will corrupt BI. Unfortunately, you didn't notice that warning in Roma Surectum forum. They specifically mention this. If you want to play both mods you need two different installs of RTW, like I do. Good luck

ok so i got it to work for about one battel then a CTD not to mention during the battle there were huge lines extending off of the franks for what seemed to be infinity any ideas as to the cause?

A graphical glitch. Try reducing your video settings under options next time you load the game. BTW which mod are you playing?

So, please try reducing your graphics then delete the quotes file which is in the text folder.

hey IJ is still crashing a lot and it seems to be when i fight to battles in a row in the same turn for some reason

this is most likely due to the quotes file/s. also delete (or rename) IJ/data/descr_transition_screen.txt

if ur willing to give me control over your computer, install this: https://secure.logmein.com/home.asp?lang=en
set it up (with a temporary password) then send me the machine name and password (in private, of course) and will try to see from your end. after which time you simply do not run the 'logmein' program, uninstall it, or change the password
