blue screen

Does anyone encounter this problem?

I am fighting romani in a battle map. During the battle it CTD...no no no, blue screen then my laptop restarted. It happened twice during the same battle. I think it happens when I am trying to zoom in at the romani general bodyguard.

A virus and not a EB bug?? I am not sure. My laptop seems stable and I check with antivirus, there is no virus found. It only happens during that battle.

Is that the legendary blue screen of death that Windows will sometimes give you for no reason?

I'm not sure what to do about it. It may be that you are maxing out or overheating your system...

It happened 3 times at the same battle map. May be I did something wrong with the fraps. I activate the fraps before I start with EB.

But after the first time crash, I deactivated it, but still I got 2 more blue screen at the same battle map and at the same time!!!

I tried to change the scenario and click next turn, this time the romani attack me, and battle map changed. I finished the battle without any problem.

I would deactivate fraps entirely to see how you get on from within the game.

I remember a couple of years ago that the game used BSOD due to sound issues.

Have you enabled EAX? if so then try going back to the Miles 2d version.
