problems trying to d load/install broken cresecent

hi all,
im having prob trying to downlaod this thing. i wnet to the site to download, i could not open the exe file form torrent, so then i wnt to rapidshare, downloaded the file and has saved it as: bcresent.part1.rar
when i try to open this, it says that file could not be opened, and says windows will need to know wot program to open it with, when i browse, in order to select a program i have nothing suitable, when i use the web to open the file, t says i need to buy an RAR archiver.
Can anyone help ?
