    Default Aventurier or Scots Guard?

    Hi people!

I'm just looking for peoples opinion on which late period French missile unit is better?

I'm having a little trouble deciding since they both decimate pretty much everything lol.

    Any thoughts?
    I love you all!

Scots is a multipurpose archer i would use in sieges (def). Aventurier pwns heavy armour but needs cover as it shoots slowly.

I agree and keep the Aventurier covered because they are good but need protection i'm sure you know why.

You can train the Scots Guard from a huge city without having to build any structures. The Aventurier can only be built in citadels with the highest marksmanship building.
So Scots Guard are available more and can be retrained easier.

One thing I do find is that once you have the required building for Aventurier, they are easier to train as the pool for Scots refills ridiculously slowly. I think I prefer Scots Guard in the field, and Aventurier in sieges personally. They could really use the defense that the wall provides during reload.

Apologies for putting this thread in the wrong place.
    I love you all!
