No Campaign?

Hi I just downloaded your mod and personally I think its good, but it would be more fun if there was a campaign. Is there a campaign in the works or will I have to wait for empire?

Howdy there and thank you kindly for your words. To answer your question in short, yes you will need to wait until Empire Total War to play a campaign. The RTW engine is not suited for the Napoleonic style of play unless heavily scripted. This is why NTW2 was made for the multiplayer community rather then dealing with the AI's poor ability to fire a musket.

Oh man.....that sucks. The Mod would be like 5 times better if there were to be a map. Just putting it out there

Try the game online and you will realize you are wrong.

You wont miss the campaign. Playing against humans is 100 times better. AI is so stupid.

NTW2 is by far the best way to play TotalWar online.

I regret to inform you that you are not the first person to mention this.

However, we must maintain that there is no campaign modification in development due to the poor quality of the AI in RTW. NTW2 was created for online players in mind.

so if there was a campaign map the ai would be as good in a campaign battle as they are in custom battle?

Yeah the AI is pretty good actually in custom battles

No, the AI is very bad.

You can win every game and will loose just 10% of your men or less.

You can fight 4 armies with one and win.

Play online that is a big fun and challenge.

but the custom battle ai isnt as bad as every1 is saying it is, if thats the excuse then i dont see a problem..

Well if scripted you can make nicer battles then in a normal custom game, but it needs time and work.
