Help with Eastern Romans
In BI:RTW I cannot seem to gain a firm standing as the Eastern Roman empire (or any of the romans).
1. I have severe issues with keeping the peace in my empire (I have constant, sudden riots occuring in Sidon, Jerusalem, Antioch, Athens). I tried converting them all to Christianity (the destruction of the pagain temples made them happy), but couple turns later they are hacked off again and i cant keep up with them. My only solution is to let them riot and revolt then recoquer the place and exterminate the populace. Unfortunately they still always riot. I swear I could kill them all except for one guy and he would riot for some stupid reason....
2. the arab faction near me always attacks with massive stacks. They are easy to kill, but he is able to reinforce them so quickly...how does he have the capabilities to build massive forces and attack me a constant rate. I have more land and more wealth since i get goldmines all over Asia Minor.
3. Also how do i withstand the uber barbarian hordes that show up....I know i wont risk losing if they never take Constantinople, but they waste all my cities in Greece.
Well thats what i need help with....
(also does anyone think the win conditions are a little stupid. The huns need 15 cities captured and Rome and Constantinople....they start with a massive horde of units and 80% of all lands in their way have no one to protect them. Western Roman Empire for example.)

Re: Help with Eastern Romans
what you need pal, is a lesson in management. the eastern factions very rich so use that money for sumthing. firstly make ur ppl happy and then kill the hordes, sure u mite lose a few cities but the rest of ur factions intact.

Re: Help with Eastern Romans
but i tend to lose money by losing cities
Especially since Antioch (the most harrassed city) and Jerusalem (the biggest revolting city.) give me alot of money.
I did handle my horde problems though which makes me happy
