Default Which is the most stable version of IFBD?

Since I had massive stability problems with IFBD 7.0 w/ 7.04 patch (couldn't fight in battle map with Visigoths because of CTD, 'creeping' battlemap CTD with Romano-British, wierd descr_strat bug with Picts involving family tree, and other assorted issues), but still want to play TW in this timeframe, which version of IFBD does the TWCenter community recommend?

The ones that particularly interest me are the Julian mod and Rio's Flagellum Dei, but which versioning of these is the least CTD-prone?

All of the current mods are now quite stable. The IBFD 7.3, Julian Mod, and Rio Flagellum Die mods have made great strides to have stable mods. All three are in a mod switcher format(rio mod needs the bi folder first copied and then changed to rio) so its possible to try all three Make sure to have the latest patch.

Thanks. Do you recommend your own FD mod (it does look really interesting)?

Perhaps Rio will feel uncomfortable if he himself recommends you his own mod. I, on the other hand, don't have to deal with that. Go ahead man, give it a shot, it's really worthy playing it. It's hard as hell but that makes it very entertaining. You'll enjoy it.

In regards to switching back and forth between the mods, how do you accomplish that? I installed IJ and then IFBD and now cant get back to IJ. Any help is appreciated!

Hmm:hmmm:, they are separate installs with their own icons. Can you expand more on this. Has your IJ exe icon dissappeared from your desktop?

When I click on the IJ icon it just loads up normal BI. I guess I will attempt to re-load IJ and see how that turns out.

Sounds like the path in your target box has been changed.

Right click on the IJ Icon
    Select Properties
In the target box, copy and paste the following:

-mod:IJ -show_err after RomeTW-BI.exe. Make sure you leave a space between .exe and -mod:IJ -show_err.

    This should work.

    Cheers

it seems the IJ mod doesn't play nice with the Rio mod. You should try uninstalling RTW, then re-installing it, then installing IBFD, then the IJ mod.
