no there isnt. Although the papacy and knights templar can get swiss pikemen (oe whatever there called) and thats a swiss as your gonna get

I miss the swiss armoured pikemen from mtw, it would be cool if someone could create them for SS.

I don't think many Swiss actually wore armor. Maybe a jack, there would have been very few knights. At least, according to the things I have read. Maybe some half armor for captain or the guys who drew double pay.. Lots of the Swiss used other polearms, halberds, lucerne hammers among others. Early on other pole arms might have outnumbered pikes.

Oh, they will probably be the best mercs for such factions as England... =) And the only ones worthy of keeping the whole game, and not just sending to die at the gates, or use them as meatshileds to charge the enemies at the backs.

I don't remember where I heard this word for the first time, prob'ly reffering to some game... I'd actually like the swiss to have very good rebel garrison and a lot of nice mercs.

Did the swiss have any more than their pikemen that was noteworthy? If not I dont see why anything else would need to be included of them.

Perhaps, asides from being l33t mercs for European factions, AoR should implement them into being easily recruitable in Switzerland. They should be slow to obtain for the aforementioned factions, thus causing a drive to capture Bern.

The only problem here is it is not strictly historical, as historically swiss mercs would pack up and travel to their buyer's destination.
