The question most likely came up because Obama has his security beefed up in the recent days.

He also had a much bigger security throughout the campaign, than any of the other candidates.

There has been presidents since JFK, who were almost fallen to assasination, but I just don't think it could happen. Today's security around various political figures is much greater and equipped with the latest technology and latest techniques and highly trained men.

Just let you know, there are always snipers around on rooftops, even if no one knows in public. Snipers, informants, enbedded members in disguise, I mean, as part of the security. I just know because I was trained in riot control/security 8 yrs ago, (national guard) and even back then it's just unbelievably tight.

For one Condi isn't that conservative. Same could also be said with Colin Powell, but he is more of a moderate.

Plus Condi and Powell aren't they leader of our country. If Obama wins then he becomes the leader and that is what scares a lot of people.

There could be a nationwide manhunt with millions of dollar rewards for the heads of racist people, and they would still exist. IT WILL ALWAYS EXIST, extremists are always out there somewhere.

Well, back in the 60's security was definitely more lax. But whenever a crime is committed, investigators ask "Who benefits?". Kinda like the Drew Peterson case thats always on the news. Since his wife "disappeared" he has certainly benefited and that is why he's a prime suspect.
