Default is M2TW Laptop compatible, really?

Hi all, I travel a lot for work and I am completely addicted to M2TW right now LOL. My laptop is an old toshiba on its last legs, so I was wondering if any of you play it on a laptop? I was thinking of finally going Mac, as my PC's seem to die about every 14-16 months and I am sick of buying a new one all the time. I know, too much porn LOL...

Anyways, any thoughts on how realistic it is to play on a laptop? I would love to be sitting on a plane mowing down the heathens in a flank charge...

    Hello there tallstark,
it's possible to play M2TW on a laptop, but it would obviously require high-end system specifications.

My only computer is a laptop - Sony Vaio. I run everything on high and I haven't lagged yet...so it's definitely doable. I also have a cooling pad for my laptop, think that helps.

I play it on my laptop, it's a reasonable laptop, nothing stunning but pretty solid. Works just fine, though I don't max stuff out.

    I had a Dell 8600 (nvidia 5600) and MTW2 didn't play too well , though it worked.

I recently got a Dell 1520 inspiron with nvidia 8600gt and that works well on high settings and huge units. IMHO the most important thing is a good video card and and as much memory as you can afford. Probably any of the nvidia 8600 series cards will be fine probably 8400's also. but get at least 2 megs Ram. Mid range processor is fine.
