Freeze when conquering the shah

Does BC have some kind of feature that turns the kwarezm shah (not sure of the spelling) into a horde when they are defeated? I besieged and captured their last city, but they had 1-2 family members and armies left. When I captured the city another full stack of the shah appeared, and it seems to lock up, not knowing what to do with my ghorid army and their shah army occupying the same space. All I know is their remaining army now looks like a star on the map, same as other hordes. I'm guessing this is a feature for the Mongol invasion part.


ANYWAYS... Is there any fix for this? Thanks

yep they have horde function. When that happens take 10 minutes off, till game finishes hording process.So your game didn't get frozen, it's just processing it.

CA messed up something with hording so it takes forever.

Yeah like MLP said just wait. It will clear sooner or later. Takes about 5 min for me.

Yah but thats with DLV mind you , their turns take like 10 minutes, and hording like more then forever.

Still no luck.

I tried waiting for 10-15 minutes two or three times, but couldn't get it to go. I left it on overnight and reloaded several tries, still no luck.

Any ideas?

It finally unlocked, I reloaded and left it going for an hour or two again and it worked. Thanks for the help, and maybe a warning could be implemented somehow in the next patch

Very strange, because I've never seen it take more than 15min.. thats what most people say. I'll look into ways around this but some factions I'd prefer to keep their horde status.

my hordes are instantaneous, I love when factions go into horde. Please do not remove it.

Maybe its just related to the processing power of the computer being played on.
