Halo Movie?

Is there a trailer out for a Halo Movie?
My friend said he saw it at the movies last week,
unfortunately he's a ********** liar and wanted to check since my laptop is jakcing up big time and I cant look anywhere else.

It was an idea, but I believe the idea was trashed.

The movie was declared dead by the director, but the executive producer says the film will be made, as does some company spokesperson.

Officially, "production is halted" but they talk about "the extra wait", meaning they intend to continue with it. If it is ever going to be put into production and finished is not known yet.

And since they have not started filming, I doubt there is a trailer.

edit: I have found a bunch of trailers, but they are fan-made, using live-action scenes and animations from promos for the Halo games, and from the games themselves.

Bah, they should just give up on the whole idea. It'll only end up a visually appealing yet narratively retarded mess. There's just no characters who could possibly make a film version appealing.

There is a short movie called Halo Landfall, its great, maybe thats what your friend saw.
