generals gaining no traits?

Hey guys it seems as if my generals are not gaining any traits..even after taking 5 cities!

im playing rajputs and im wondering whats going on..or is the traits system revamped so one has to fight a lot lot more than one has to do in mwt2 in order to gain traits?

one general took 4 cities by assaulting..and yet no trait gain

am i doing something wrong?

Hmm.. well command and economy traits should be generic so and not culture specific so I can't see why they aren't gaining traits via conquests.

yeah i get the economic traits such as "raja of this and raja of tht" but not any military ones though

maybe i should fight some more

Vanilla traits are messed up, i have generals that are keep winning and getting stars but not traits.Then they endup being "Enraged lunatics" or something like that after awhile..

And then i got generals that are "born governers", they keep turning into lazy and ignorant ones, after i placed them in well built cities, like 100% of them.Make no sense..

I know from other bigger mods in TW series that they needed to redo trait system, due to same reasons.

I've noticed this too and its hard to get any good traits to stick all except poor trader and corroupt traits

yeah played 5 more battles...in fact took 5 more cities and yet no combat rlated traits.

I'm playing as KoJ and i noted that my generals gain traits for all (trading, farming, mining, administration, ecc...) but they don't get any trait when they fight..!!! I conquer too city after city but, for example, Balian didn't get any improvement to "proven commander" trait....others traits gave him more stars but that principal commander trait doesn't upgrade...

Strange

. I will be rehauling the traits / anc system indepth in the coming months as I build BC 2.0. So don't expect much from the current vanilla traits system.
