OK, I have seen some truly brilliant justifications in the forum where someone says "actually, that kind of makes sense, because...." so here is one I don't understand.
Let's say I am in Timbuktu and I own the province. If a rebel or AI enemy stands on my road and blocks it I have no trade, so I get no trade credit for say the gold, but my merchant sitting on it still gets credit for trading it, is that right? My trade goes down for the region, but the merchant is still getting his goods out the the capital, help me see the logic on that one.
