Solanki Rajputs ate my hamster/empire

BC owns my life right now. I cant stop. I even talk to my housemates about my empire. They've begun to introduce me to girls.

Anyway, i would like to inquire about the progress made by the Solanki Rajputs in everyone else's campaigns. In my 3 campaigns (as Turks, Ghaznivids and KOJ) they have totally spread agarbhatti ownage across the map. Their elephants blot out the sun.

Has anyone else noticed this, or do the Ghorids build pyramids out of Rajput skulls?

In my game the Ghorids and Rajputs are in a stalemate, but the Ghorids are hard pressed... The Ghorids have most of Northern India and the Rajputs are effectively boxed in for the moment, but they are strong.

Yes, the Raj are quite overpowered. Which is ironic since I always worried the massive Ghorid roster would pwn the Rajputs. Turned out to be the opposite.

Yes, the ridiculous pricing of the Elephants may be the core factor in them pwning so much. In 1.1 I will basically set all their replenishments to low.

In the majority of my campaigns the Rajputs GO ABSOLUTELY CRRRRRAZY. However, in my ERE one, its 1223 they've only captured Gwaihor.

One of the oddities of the M2 AI I suppose.

in my ghorid game, i took over most of sindh, but as a last act of desperation they allied themselves with the rajputs, and in 2 or 3 turns i now have 5 full rajput stacks in my nation. the waning ghaznies also formed a coalition with khwarazm and invaded me to the north. damn, the ghorids just can't catch a break

Rajputs just have insane amounts of wealth, combined with their elephants and decent early units means they are quite a power house. The Ghorids are just too stupid to deal with them when they have the chance, you could easily corner the Rajputs before they take more than a couple of provinces if you ignore Delhi and go around it. Not like Delhi ever does anything.

I would love to play as KoJ, and have the Solanki Rajputs attacking me!
But can the A.I. Win the game? Like, if they capture 60 provinces, do they win?

I'm playing as the Malikate of Sindh and I must tell you that the rajputs are spawning army after army. I believe they have almost 20 full stack armies around. They have pushed the Gorids up to Afganistan.
I have allied with the ghorids and decided to attack them from the south. I own southern india right now and I'm pushing north.
My strategy is simple, I have a full stack army in southern india conquering their cities and another one in northern Sindh which mission is to hold its ground against the Rajputs attacks.
This nothern army has destroyed almost 10 full stack armies (once I was circled by 3 armies, good job on the AI!!!)

Yeah, the Rajputs have been frickin' tanks in both of my campaigns. I had to fight them when playing Khwarezm, and it was a true pain. They must have had at least 20 full stacks of troops. They wiped out the Ghorids, allied with Sindh, and then both attacked me. Only way I stopped them was by assassinating all their heirs and the faction died off.

As ERE they are starting off slow. It's 1200 and they still haven't attacked the Ghorids yet, though they declared war on Sindh. Probably just a naval war since they're separated by the Great Red Mass.

I actually did an expedition in to India as the Abbasids with a full stack of Nubian archers and HA's. I completely oblitarated like 4 stacks of Rajputs and some smaller stacks. After much looting I had to retire my troops due to a war with the Seljuks.

They did not seem like much of a challange.

Their challenge is in their sheer numbers. And elephants if you're not careful.

wow, i started a rajput game on med/med and in around 18 or 19 turns i have almost all of india under my sway, 4 20-garrison stacks, and i'm making around 25 thousand a turn. i've also completely destroyed the ghorid military in general. i must say, they're one fun faction to play as
