princess coming in age

what 's the point to know that a princess from another faction is coming in age ? i cant send one of my prince to mary her ?

If you have a leader or an heir who is not married then you can send a diplomat or one of your own princesses and enter into negotiations with the faction's princess that was said to come of age and have your leader/heir marry that princess and form a marriage alliance with that faction.

It helps. The amount is variable.

You can only form an alliance through marriage via your leader, heir or princess. In the case of your princess obviously you have to hope that you can find an unmarried rival King or heir.

Yes or vice versa when you send one of your own princesses to another faction for a marriage alliance. She becomes part of that faction but I've noticed a difference between regular alliances and ones made from marriage. Another thing of note is that if you have a faction that you have a marriage alliance with you may keep marrying your princesses from your faction to the other faction (or vice versa) to make your relations even stronger. So you may have more than 1 marriage alliance between another faction.

it would be absolutely great if I could marry princesses of other factions to other members of my family (beside king and faction heir). playing DLV 5,2 VH/VH as kievan russians I have 5 unmarried generals and governors at their 40´s... bad and I can not do anything with it

but i dislike the messages such as princess coming in age or king's death...they make my turn round very slow...shall i close those annoying meaasges?

If you mean by this that you are forced to move your hand/mouse combo to close these events then yes I can see how that could slow you down somewhat.

If you mean that these events are slowing your P.C down that is incorrect. The events add a second maybe in total to the AI turn time.

On a similar note, is it difficult to enable the 'coming of age' message? I'd like to add it to another mod I'm playing but can't find anything on it in the tutorials...
