WOW they were tough! it took me about 6 waves of death and 5 generals to beat them lol..... i am playing as makuria and made my capital cairo. The sacked it about four times until i could defeat them but cost me 5 generals lol that WAS Fun

They are tough mofo's that's for sure.
Playing as the KoJ, you really have to hit the Ayyubids early on, when their troops are relatively weak, and yours are better armoured. However, playing as Makuria, you are always one step behind.

For my glorius Ayyubid experience poor Makurians suffers from lack of armor but they swarm with huge numbers. KoJ was my first victim because of financial purpose due to Mediterrenean ports and Makuria was second. With the proper financial stability and three full stack army Makurians took their rightful place in history.

As makuria Ive had alot of fun against the ayyubids. The heavy armor is annoying but nothing longbows + makurian spearmen + lutat mace + sudanese attack infantry can't solve as thats basically my army though all with really high xp. About the generals makuria has really bad bodyguards but I don't use them much.

If Ayyubids exist then its free stacks for them. If they don't then its a rebel uprising. Its just a fun challenge for anyone (non-egyptian) whose in charge of egypt.
