i was going through the character traits and found two identical entries of Iampope that have the hidden feature. could double character trait entries cause a crash?

Who knows how to solve the problem with loading the game save? If you play the first few moves and load a save, then everything works fine
But if you play more than 10 turns, make a save game and immediately load it, then immediately take it to Windows - who knows what the problem is?

I am surprised that the error message is without any text whatsoever. Maybe generating a fresh CFG file might help? Simply remove the medieval2.preferences.cfg from the game's root directory and then start again - that will generate a new CFG file with default values. Which means you will need to redo any custom settings like screen resolutions.

Gigantus I did everything as you said - but it didn’t help, I started the game again... I made saves... when I try to load the last save I get the same error
There may be some problem with the resolution ? (although it was set by default)

I am out of ideas - as to the resolution: that will default to 1024x786 after generating a new CFG file, simply reset that in the graphic options.

Gigantus - I did it - and it didn't help
Game save normal in any period of game
But to load saves ( saves works only after two-three turns in game), if more i cannot load save of game
(after several moves in the game, is there a problem with the graphics?)
There were also (previously) cases where during the game, after a few moves, some graphic changes somehow occurred on the strat map and in the strat map window and in the dialogue windows.. There was some kind of bug with textures, the game could threw it into Windows and an error appeared with graphics

What other files can be related to graphics, with resolution? Can the game somehow change the parameters in these files during the game?
Maybe you know some other forums on this site where people who are moderators or representatives of this game will help to me find what the problem is?

Today I tested with saving saves every turn and loading them (every turn).
At first everything was fine, then problems started. I went back to the old saves, some of the first ones loaded, but on one save the following error appeared when loading
