problem with starting an imperial campaign

sorry to make my first post a plea for help, but i'm really excited to try my first xgm campaign and, as of right now, i can't. custom battles seem to work fine, but when i select a faction for an imperial campaign and click the "next screen" button, i am returned to the campaign selection screen - that is, the one where you choose custom battle, imperial campaign, or historical battle.

i'm using BI 1.6 and RTW 1.5. i also have alexander installed, as well as several separate-folder mods. sadly, i'm using vista for my os.

when i quit xgm, i get this error message upon returning to the desktop:

"Script Error In
xgm/data/world/maps/campaign/barbarian_invasion/descr_regions.txt, at line 22, column 33
Belief Cimbrica is unavailable. Is it spelt correctly?"

any help or advice would be much appreciated. like i said, i'm looking forward to my first campaign.

It's a bad install. One of the other mods you have installed may have messed with your original files, so re-installing and patching might help.
