joining mods
is it possible to use skins and the map from one mod and put them in another?
i am playing serrecum mod which has great legion skins and by far the best map .The map especially is good because although the top view looks the same when you fight in say sicilly the area is much larger,
I want to put these into rtwpe as serrecum is to easy even playing on vh/h and i like rtwpe being harder and the general traits.

Well you first of all need to get the permission from the owner of the mod to do that, once you got the permission then it is just to go ahead. Are you planning to distribute your mod to others later? I think if it is only for private use then no permission is needed but if you are going to distribute it then you must have the permission from the mod you are taking from.
I dont remember who is the boss of RTR : PE, ask in their forum.

It is possible, but you would have to do a lot of editing mainly on descr_strat. You would have to modify the coordinates of the units and agents on the map, as well as add some mod-especific buildings (the auxilia buildings in rtr). And then you would have to add the units from one mod into the buildings and factions of the other. It is possible, but it would take a lot of work.

As for getting permission,it was only for my use as i don't know how to create a mod just edit some of the settings such as money,population etc ,easy stuff.
Anyway if you haven t tried serrecum its worth ago just for the various legions and the excellent map
