Least system intensive mod

To sort of take off from my last post about performance, I was wondering what are the least system intensive mods out there.

I like good improvements to the battle/strategy AI, but Stainless Steel slows my game down. What mods do similar things but without straining performance much.

Also I'd like to stay away from those 'title' ancillaries. When I go conquering my characters usually end up with 5+ "Duke of so and so" which prevents them from having other more interesting ancillaries.
