    Default Darks mini mod for Broken Crescent

    Changes:
    -Mini map has less contrasting colours for seperating provinces
    -Castles can be upgraded at any level... however the higher teirs are more expensive. This is IMO more realistic... after all castles aren't really ment to be dependent on population. So no longer will you have lots of cash in wallet and no decent army!
    -At the highest teir city barracks you can now build some castle units (highest teir cavlry)... why would the largest city in the world not be able to recruit the best soldiers?
    -Yes it is save compatible with the 1.05 patch

    Instructions:
    Extract the 17kb rar into your m2tw where BC is and replace the files and replace the files if asked, if I've set it up wrong or it doesn't work you can just extract it anywhere and replace the files one by one.
    To uninstall reapplly the 1.05 patch... this requires the 1.05 patch as well btw.

    BTW I have a feeling that base pop might have to do with squalor... if you upgrade a castle and squalor doesn't reduce please report it. I'll have to do further testing.

    This is a joke. Thanks for undermining the countless hours of work of the BC team. Those that only want you to want until they have a completely finalized version, yet you are consistently defiant to them for no reason other than them wanting to protect the contents of their own mod.

    What about how the BC undermined the work AD put in? I think thats a little more major and that would actually be classed as undermining. Wheras this in no way negatively affects BC apart from emotionally (apparently).

    AD left of his own accord. He has shown no ill will to us, nor do we wish ill will to him.

    We used the work he developed with us, and was not undermined in any way. If any member were to depart, his work would stay. This was an argument which was resolved between him and us and the TWC site well before the release of the mod. Please do not slander our mod with something that is false.

    I wish AD only the best, and was glad to have worked with him on the team. It was fun, and it is too bad that things went as they did, but I do not regret having worked with him and the rest of the team to create Broken Crescent.

    Well that is not what I heard from a few posts from AD at the org that is all. Regardless... it would certainly seem there have been issues with the team and its not merely timewise things. regardless... theres not much point discussing it further. I will continue making mini mods for BC... whether inevitably posted at the TWC or not and I will also likely encourage and participate in BC AAR writing, MP and MP campaigns.

    Being more of a tweak of a full conversion mod already released, this belongs on the original host mod's forums rather than the general Mod Threads page. Moved.

    Yeaaah, I'll stick with the official BC patches.

    This attitude doesn't really help your mini mod in my opinion. Like the rule was that hard to follow.

    Broken Crescent has the right to use materials they have created however they see fit. If that entails disallowing alterations of their modification to be redistributed, that is perfectly within their rights as creators.
