Really unhappy now

hi, i am playing since over a year now the DLV mod 4.0 and i like it, playing every battle myself and i do not get further anymore, this time there is a crash, that i cannot avoid anymore by reloading any savegame trying to do different plots....it is crashing with the desert tribes turn and i have no sight nor relations with them to maybe change the AI turn...

this means to me over 3 month gaming again for nothing....


playing as Byzantine over 12 month now and never have been able to end the game, always there has been a point of no return crash....


how to help me?

I want a version that would not crash, that means

only the very essentially files putting in...like diplomatic system and roleplay system....i do not need the desert tribes...i do not need even mongols and timurids if it is crashing nor i need indians in africa....i still want play the byzantine faction to the end...

which parts are included into the DLV to choose for myself, which small mods to add and which to avoid.

just checked it again, the crash is at desert tribes to next faction turn, its the year 1296

i cannot see what is happening, no spy or diplomat near any desert tribes city, i guess the turks have been taking their capital or anything like that, got already some crashes because the turks eliminated factions but this time no chance to change the plot....i would simply need to know

how to edite the savegame file to disable desert tribes...making the turn ending....

trying out several things and how it looks, turning the "view enemy turns" "on" did help...it does not crash anymore

has been crashing how i can see now, while a portugale princess negotiating a peace treaty with the turks, who are in war because of a djihad on the potugale city Fez...

the constellation at this moment has been, that right a turn before that i made the turks my vassals, taking their Capital and some others a turn before that and portugale has been my ally...

Now the problem, 5 djihad armies at Fez, my ally and peace with me and portugale...i guess that has been to much for the PC and it needed more time to eat that....


still great mod i must say, and honestly i cannot understand not to see a better rank for the creators of this mod at the mod contest? Maybe i dont understand the rules of that contest and i did not checkout every winning mod, but from all what i know, what could you do better then this one at all?

Sorry, but DLV 4.0 is no longer supported...

The modding awards is just crap, for people who have nothing else to do. Don't know why people support this egoinflating competition nonsense...
