    Default Differences using Alex exe?

I was curious as to the differences you guys have noticed if you've started using the alex exe. As the GCS, Rome assaulted one of my cities with two different stacks. While one of them was typical, one of them was 3/4 full of only cavalry! I was like, "Rome fielding a bunch of cavalry? Huh?"

Also, I don't know if this was intentional, but it seems Rome doesn't give a rip about Sardinia and Corsica anymore.

Certainly not intentional. I have noticed other factions doing more naval stuff - building more ships and making naval invasions. After I took Cyprus in a GCS campaign, the Ptolemies have been quite persistent in sending troops to take it back. Nothing very large so far, but I have had to maintain a modest garrison there - which I've never had to worry about previously.

It might be because Carthage maintained a decent presence in Iberia and now Rome is content with driving them back there, but when I was using BI, those islands were always snatched up by Rome early on.

Also, they used to drop some troops to take Patras like clockwork but this didn't happen this time.
