Hey people
I recently started a Scotland campaign, and it was going well, but now im having problems.
Heres the current position im in:
As you can see I control Scotland and all its surounding islands, aswell as Castle Town, Chester, York, Lincoln, Nottingham, and Norwich.
I have alliances with Ireland, the Barons Alliance, and Wales. I have wiped out the Norweigans and am concentrating on the English.
At the beggining of the campaign, I was busy with the Norweigans and so I kept the English neutral so I didnt have to fight on two fronts. I also immedeatly made alliances with Ireland and Wales.
By the time I had delt with the Norweigans, the Barons Alliance had formed. My allies, Ireland and Wales, immedeatly made alliances with them.
So at this point I didnt attack my southern front, for risk of harming my alliances with Wales and Ireland. Instead I allied with the Barons Alliance, went around them, and attacked the English in the midlands.
Now heres the problem:
Wales have a decent size force near one of my provinces, Castle Town. Thats on a small island off the coast of south western Scotland. This clearly isnt an attack preperation, because the army was there even before the province was mine, and has just stayed there.
Ireland have a decent size force near another of my provinces, the Isle of Islay. Neither of these forces are hostile at the moment.
I want to bridge my English provinces with my Scottish provinces by taking out the Barons Alliance in between. However when I end my alliance with a diplomat with the Barons Alliance, the Welsh and Irish forces on my relitivly unmanned islands attack, and take my land.
Does anyone know how I could take out the Barons Alliance, without harming my friendship with Ireland and Wales?
Or maybe you think I should do something completly different?
Sorry for the rediculously sized question, but it needed to all be explained
XKillerX
PS this is my first post so hi to you all![]()
