Where can I find out more about traits? How you get specific traits etc. Is there a guide somewhere about factors that will influence this?
What I am after is how to get "Drillmaster" and a couple of others.

now someone mentioned the traits thing, i have a question too: i know you can pass some of your generals traits to another one, but how do you do that exactly?
if i drag the trait to another general, it returns to the original general again, it doesn't stay with that new general.
ideas/hints?
Aio, quantitas magna frumentorum est
you sure you don't mean the "ancillaries"? These you can drag and drop between the generals. I have never tried this with traits ... never thought that was possible.
wait you can do that with ancillaries?

Just saying that you can swap retinues between generals. I do not think this is according to house rules but I must admit that I do this sometimes.
do you trade ancillaries or you give and take them?
‡Peace on earth - Death to the Enemy!‡
Well, I use family members as governors and train/recruit generals for battles. When a governor gets either a movement or chirurgeon retinue I give them to the general doing battles. In the next couple of turns the governor usually get the same retinues again, so then I copy the procedure for another general if close by. Other retinues I usually leave with the governor.
I dont do this but if you have a really old governor about to die you could give away all his ancillary
yeah you can. im going to have some uber generals now!
