How can ı remove arrows?!

My question is how can ı remove staying arrows?ı have installed unit size mod so my archer units have 250 men.when they fire their arrows there is so much staying arrows in the battlefield and it makes my computer slower.so,how can ı remove it?!

edit the descr_effects_impacts.txt, search for arrows and 'play_time x'. Set play_time to the number of seconds you want the arrows to last. Also remove ';' if there is one before the ";play_time".

Go to ...\Medieval II Total War\mods\Stainless_Steel\data\ and open the descr_effect_impacts.txt .

Here you can find the "play_time" for every fireweapon, like archer, mortar etc.

In SS most off them have a ; before the play_time, this means the arrows staing endless on the field, so just remove that ; and use a time like 50 sek or so.

PS: But make a backup before!!
