    Default EB in PCGAMER UK

Lusted, over at the org, brought our attention to a full page article in the most recent PCGAMER UK. Glowing reviews all round. Which is nice.

Check it out if you happen to be in a place where the mag is being sold and you happen to have money to spend.

"... from the menus to the new music and loading screens, this is way beyond almost any mod you've ever played."

"This is not just Rome in a fright wig, speaking in a funny accent - the game itself is altered and deepened."

"Requires: Rome TW, disapproval of corner-cutting ... Stuffy historical detail = superior game"

    Wow, congratulations!

I continue to be impressed by the depth of this mod...and have turned several people on to it, who are also blown away.

    Very nice!

Now imagine how much popular EB could be if EB team spends another year on RTW engine EB game (and maybe add Indian faction )

Anyways, I belive in EB team all the way

That's impressive that an unofficial mod would make it into a gamers' magazine

maksimus, it actually should be possible to extend the map east and add the Mauryan empire
as a faction but there are two problems:

    1) You would have to take some other faction out

    2) There is a map limit of 200 and right now things are nicely spread
out and removing provinces to add to India would mean one or more
areas on the map would be neglected

Well, technically I think that PC Gamer UK do have a mod feature, and so there are always mod reviews in the magazine, but it's more impressive IMO that a mod for a game that's so old should still be attracting attention in the wider community.

Congratulations guys. Anthony from the org, who was recently banned, also asked that I pass on his congratulations here.
