Hey guys, I'm back. Unfortunately real life has been hectic for me of late with a bereavement just before christmas and my business folding just before that. Things have been somewhat strained to say the least..

Anyway, I haven't played TLR in months, and I really fancied a go, to see what's improved. I decided to reinstall today, on to my new "downgraded" system, and unfortunately I can't get the campaign to run at all! It's most bizarre.

I have obviously followed the instructions to the letter - but I did install the latest 1.3 patch - is TLR not compatible with this or something? I can't understand why it's not working otherwise. I didn't do anything different beforehand. I am looking forward to see the new splash screens etc!

Also, what's this about the Darth Ages? Is this some kind of TLR expansion? I've a lot of catching up to do.

Anyway, enough for now, I will keep fighting on. Speak soon!

I'm running it with the 1.3 patch, so that shouldn´t be an issue.

Also, what's this about the Darth Ages? Is this some kind of TLR expansion? I've a lot of catching up to do.

The Darth Ages adds a new version of Darth A.I., some rebalancing (costs) and a variety of new Kingdoms features, although there are not any new units. Other than that, D.A. is the same as the long road for the most part, and it is still living. Check out the "Darth Ages" thread in the darth forum for more info. You do need to have Kingdoms installed to run it though... Sorry you can't run TLR, I hope things look up in your life and the recession doesn't catch you in its net!!!
