If you really like the game and play it a lot, then upgrading it with NA is worth it, just for the automated merchants :p I also like the historical rulers and advisors, adds more feeling to it.

Not to mention that almost all of the mods are going to support NA instead of vanilla in the near future.
It should had been a patch if you ask me; it was kind of cheap to ask money for the expansion, but like Spart said; if you like the game, and play it much, it's definetly worth of every cent.

like the others said, it might sound a bit expensive for a big patch, but some of the changes you'll just won't be able to live without afterwards.

Lots of small stuff, but mostly, there's a bride finder in the ledgers, buttons to easily select your advisors showing candidates with the value of their relevant stat, and you can vassalize people as part of a peace treaty.

yes you need NA really to have real fun, merchants were a pain in normal EU3.

It's good and I find it difficult to play without, though it is a bit pricy.

I find it quite worth buying. The new features are just so nice... I can't live without my merchant auto sending. And the war overviews are great to keep track of things easily.
