What is the difference, I personaly like it on horse back more, but i wanted to do britannia but it was charriots which pissed me off a bit. Thay are useles after the initial charge.

Chariots beat horseback men easily regardless of how many hit points or defence they have

Chariots can be difficult to control in comparasson to normal cavalry but all things being equal (upgrades etc) chariot generals are easily superior to horseback generals
If at first you don't succeed destroy any evidence that you tried

And retrain them in cities with armories so they get more defense.

Chariots slaughter cavalry no questions asked, and if you keep thm running through the whole unit they should win that too. Try not to get them bogged down though.
Asking for rep is a sure fire way to not receive any, at least from this old cynic.

the chariots may have long range archery for generals but they die fast if a high-stamina hoplite like silvershields gets close to them, or a massed charge of light cavalry.
