Dont exacly know if it is a BC bug, but As the topic says i recived a ridiculus offer.

H/VH, Khwarezm, 8 familymembers, starting army + few persian spearmans, 2 tajik militia, and 5+ militias in every city. Merv almost captured, Nishapur, castle and city to the east of Nishapur captured, Balkh also captured. Now trying to win a race with Ghazni for one of Khorossans large wall city than Smaraqand and that hill city east of Smaraq. Trade agreement with Ghanzi, Ghorid and Seljuks. Reasonable reputation with Ghazni and Ghorid, and i think a bit better with Ghorid.

But to the topic. After a captured castle east of Nishapur i set all my bodyguards and Tajik(?) Horse archers (the one i start with) to the Khorossan city south west of Ghazni (south of Balkh under Castle). That turn i moved there, Ghazni invaded Balkh with 2 armies containing several ghulams, som Ghaznivid cavalries, Elephant merc, some ghulam spearmans and levies/low class units. All in all i would prolly lose the war [eigther lose Balkh or become a vassal].
The problem is that he didnt attacked me. He put his armies arround Balkh and next turn he sent a diplomat with an offer "Give us 160 money or we attack". Well i accepted trying not to lauch at the diplomat, and to my suprise He withdrawed his troops from my borders.

In my MTW2 games i allways was attacked, or not. Never had diplomat send to negotiate "peace" before war was on. Actually i had one once, it was mongolian diplomat asked for 3000 or he will attack, i payed and he attacked same turn.
