Default Client rulers - names and traits

Firstly, let me say thanks for a great mod - by far the best I've played for RTW, and definitely worth the wait.

Secondly - is there any way of manually changing the names of the client rulers so they reflect the ethnicity of the areas they govern? I'd rather have my Amici Populi ruled by Eumenes, Attalos, Jugurtha, Juba, Ariarathes etc. than Manius, Decius etc.

Thirdly - is it historical for some favoured client rulers to receive any Senate offices? My clients always seem to be Tribunis Milites, etc - I can imagine that some favoured, particularly Romanized, allies might have been given titles, but it's not really my period so I don't know. And if it isn't, there any way of avoiding this (or will it be fixed in 1.x)?

I don't think RTW has a way of manually renaming characters. Plus, doing so may mess up the scripting involved in client rulers.

The thing with client rulers getting certain traits (like senate offices) is a bug and has been fixed for the next release.

Good to hear MAA, I have been avoiding level 4 govts as the Romani due to them getting senate offices.

Will there also be traits about their ethnicity, like the default clients for the AS and Makedonia?

This probably isn't possible but what if the script spawns a rebel FM outside that corresponds to the area's culture, and gives him a trait lowering bribe cost to the lowest possible then either bribes him or simply switches him to your faction, then removes the trait?

You are right, it isn't possible. We have no way by script to bribe or move a character to another faction.
